EUsalt Safety & Innovation Award 2025. Multimedia Video Presentation.

[Deadline: Please send your video and any other assets by the 25th of April 2025]

Presentation Framework

There will be an allocated 10-minute slot per participating project, distributed as follows:

  • 30 sec- 1 min: Live introduction (designated speaker to introduce themselves, company and team members working on the project. Then introduce the project itself before the project video starts.)
  • 3- 4 minVideo presentation of the project
  • 5 min: Live Q and A

Video Framework

The presentation videos will include a prerecorded verbal video scene where the presenter will speak to the camera and talk about the project.

This segment should not last more than 3-4 minutes max.

And should simply include the same content as presented in your written PowerPoint presentations. Basically, please talk and present your ideas and work as shown in the written version and we will overlay the necessary visual content and blend it with your verbal recording to create a final video presentation.

Requirement for Video

The video needs to be recorded in a minimum resolution of 1080p HD quality in order to look good and not too blurry.

We understand it may not be possible to have a professional camera so it is ok to use a mobile phone camera instead. Please do not use the selfie camera. Only use the main phone camera.

Video should be recorded so that the presenter’s head and shoulders are in frame. If you are unsure about framing then keep the camera slightly further back and we can then crop in and frame the shot.

Important

  • If possible please record in front of a correctly lit ‘green screen’. Otherwise in front of a plain solid backdrop is fine.
  • Only record in landscape
  • Use a lighting rig if possible. Ensure it uses LED bulbs and not candescent bulbs.
  • Please use a mic and not the device mic if possible.
