FOS Creations – Branding, Business Cards & Website

The Client

FOS Creations focuses on creating bespoke painting for private and commercial clients at affordable prices. When they approached Painting Pixels they were just starting out and looking for some design solutions to get them set up.

The Deliverables

Logo Design – Design a bespoke logo that represents FOS for use on all future digital and print material.

Business Card Design – Produce a single sided business card design that makes use of the FOS logo and aesthetic. The design needs to include contact details and a brief list of services.

Website Design – Design a website that makes use of the clients’ artwork and works well with the newly designed logo. The website needs to look sleek and sophisticated.

Website Development – Develop the designed website built on a content management system to allow the addition, edit or removal of website content by the client with no required coding knowledge.

The Process

Logo Design

When it came to designing the logo for FOS Creations the client wasn’t after anything in particular and as such gave Painting Pixels the creative freedom to make our own decisions. FOS is the English translation from Greek for the word ‘Light’; it is for this reason we knew that we wanted the logo to use light in some form. Our artists went ahead and created an initial concept for the logo and after a couple of minute alterations the client loved it.

Business Card Design

The client was looking for simple, single sided business cards that would incorporate the new logo and a similar aesthetic. We went ahead and discussed plans for the business card with the client and the information they wanted to feature on the card. Once this was settles our designers put together a print ready design for client approval which, much like with the logo, came quickly.

Website Design

We then had to come up with a design for the website that complemented the logo and incorporated some of the art produced by the client. The client was also looking for a more affordable and traditional website solution so when our designers came together they were able to produce a design that made use of full width background imagery that added a layer of depth to the website and showcased the premium quality of the clients own paintings.

Website Development

The final stage of the project was the website development. The website was to be built on a content management system that allowed the client complete control over all website content. This meant the flexibility to add, edit or remove text and images on the website and its included gallery. Once finished we went through the backend system with the client explaining how the system works and ensuring their complete satisfaction.

The Result

The finished result was an array of design solutions that not only was the client incredibly happy with but something that was easily affordable for a new business whilst still boasting that same Painting Pixels level of quality and care we are known for.
