Bespoke Responsive Website Design for White Brothers
Painting pixels is delighted to have worked with White-Brothers to develop a bespoke and responsive website. White-Brothers are one of the largest suppliers of surplus goods to the charity sector and have won numerous awards for their work.
We started the website project with a briefing and created a design to match their spec which was to create a responsive website with a clean and clear design.
They already had a strong brand identity with bold dark colours, so it was important to use their colours but still ensure the website looked clean and modern.
Our new website development for White-Brothers was replacing an older site, which served them for many years. It served its purpose for a while but was cracking at the seams. One of the major issues with the old site was the lack of a content management. This meant that they could not update their website frequently enough as it required the use of a skilled web developer.
So one of the major requirements was to create a system with CMS; content management system. This would allow them to create and add text and images without any programming knowledge.
The website has additional features including an events calendar and newsfeed. All of which they can also update without a web developer.
Other features include having the ability to list their product categories, list their customers and also a twitter feed.
The website was created with a responsive structure from the ground up, so displays at a native resolution on tablet computers and smart phones and the top menu adapts to a mobile when using a mobile browser. This all creates for easier viewing on smaller devices and a better experience for site visitors.
