3D Furnace Cleaning

The following animation and still images were produced for a large industrial cleaning company. They needed to demonstrate how they would use a new cleaning technique to clean a large industrial furnace which is used to purify crude oil.

The demonstration animation was created from scratch using only a few photographs as reference. However we managed to build the complicated furnace accurately using state of the art 3d modelling techniques.

The animation sequences show how a furnace which has years of soot and dirt built up on its convection sections, has reduced its efficiency and shows how the custom cleaning technique developed by the cleaning company will clean each and every section, which will allow the furnace to operate at maximum efficiency.
